Introduction of Texas Hold’em Poker

Even though Texas Hold’em poker is the most popular version of poker, very little information is available about its origin. The game was first played at the Golden Nuggets Casino and this was the only place where Texas Hold’em was played for many years. The game wasn’t actually this popular until the 1970’s, where it was accepted at tournament levels. However, in 2003, Chris Moneymaker won the World Series of Poker with this game and concluded that this was the best game to make money. This attracted most poker enthusiasts to venture into the game.
